FOR EMPLOYERS

We would like to extend our resources to you in assisting you with your recruiting and hiring needs. The Wharton MBA Career Management Office is happy to help your company schedule an on-campus recruiting visit. This recruiting option allows you to post summer and full-time positions targeting both current Wharton MBA students and alumni, as well as arrange a campus interview date. For further details, please contact Colleen France - Senior Associate Director - Real Estate, cfrance@wharton.upenn.edu

The Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center was established in 1983 by The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to foster excellence in real estate education and research. The Center helps develop curriculum for the Real Estate Department and also serves as a liaison between faculty, students and business professionals. The center’s success is based on the support of prominent industry leaders who constitute the membership. Members have special access to students for potential employment opportunities. They enjoy benefits at the Center’s annual Career Fair and are invited to join a Career Mentor Program. Members also attend Fall and Spring Members’ Meetings. These meetings provide superb opportunities to network with colleagues, meet with students and to discuss key issues facing the industry. Members receive research papers on real estate published in the Working Paper series and complimentary subscription to the Wharton Real Estate Review. For more information about the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center, please contact Susan Stutsman Sessa, 215-898-3824, sessa@wharton.upenn.edu

The Zell-Lurie Resume Book is an excellent way to identify Wharton MBA Real Estate talent. To assist in targeting qualified candidates, the resumes are indexed by student year (i.e., internship or full-time candidate), preferred location, desired industry/function, and keywords

The club has a mentoring program in place and seeks to give members the knowledge and experience that will help them find a successful career in real estate. Additional club services and events include Brown Bag Lunches, Days On The Job, Career Treks, Speaker Series, and Real Estate Master Classes taught by industry professionals. If you would like to become involved in club activities please contact us!
